Polkapalooza to draw thousands

Windsor, Ont. – Polka fans are thrilled to learn that Polkapalooza is returning to Casino Windsor for another eight hours of non-stop music performed by the world’s best polka musicians on Friday, January 14.

During this FREE event, from noon to 8 p.m. in the Promenade Ballroom polka enthusiasts will strap on their dance shoes to enjoy the musical genius of headliner Jimmy Sturr and his Orchestra along with Marshall Lackowski and his LA DE DA Orchestra, Duane Malinowski Orchestra, John Gora and Gorale and the Del Sinchak Orchestra.

Fans from across Michigan, Ohio and Ontario will again be arriving by the busload for the January 14 show. This will be the third time flocks of polka fans will attend this popular event hosted by Casino Windsor. In January and June 2004, award winning polka musicians packed the Promenade Ballroom with over 3,500 guests per event singing and dancing to their favorite tunes. It was an exciting scene, with the large dance floor at full capacity for the entire day.

Customers need only present their Players Prestige card to enter the ballroom. Those who are not yet a member can sign up at the Players Prestige Booth on the main gaming level for their FREE membership.
